Psoriasis
What is the cause?
Flexural psoriasis may also present as intertrigo and is a common manifestation of the skin disease in obese subjects. Despite the dramatic appearance, the rash tends to be relatively asymptomatic, although painful fissuring may occur within the depths of the skin folds. Flexural psoriasis is characterised by symmetrical distribution in multiple sites and persistence. The plaques are well demarcated, and tend to be shiny and moist rather than scaly.
