Naevus simplex (salmon patch)
What features distinguish this condition?
The salmon patch or naevus simplex is a capillary vascular malformation. A pink patch is present at birth, and tends to fade with time. Salmon patches are very often noted on the central occipital scalp (stork mark), or on the forehead between the eyebrows (angel's kiss).
