Impetiginised seborrhoeic dermatitis
Describe its clinical features and treatment.
Seborrhoeic dermatitis is the most common scalp complaint. The prominent feature is diffuse scaling but pustules and crusted erosions may be observed because of secondary staphylococcal infection. Treatment requires short-term oral antibiotic as well as antifungal shampoo and descaling agents.
