What is the diagnosis?
Traumatic nail haemorrhage.
There is a linear pigmented band affecting the distal half of this nail. Dermoscopy shows the band to be made up of reddish brown and black amorphous streaks within a yellowish background. There are no melanocytic features. The appearance is characteristic of a recent injury to the nail.
