What is the diagnosis?
Pigmented basal cell carcinoma.
This lesion was fairly non-descript clinically in contrast to the striking pigmentation seen on dermoscopy. There are no features of a melanocytic lesion (pigment network, aggregated globules or streaks). There are several prominent arborising blood vessels. The pigmentation reveals background light brown areas with large blue-grey nests and multiple blue-grey and black irregular globules. This lesion is not ulcerated.
